OUR STORY
Studio Capacitor evolved from the restless minds and incessant tinkerers of Trademark Design + Fabrication. Inside Capacitor we ponder and ask existential questions, challenge common assumptions, and encourage storytelling. The narratives we tell explore the complexities that come along with being human and the symbiotic relationships we have with the natural world.
We ask, “What are the first principles of a place or idea, and why?” We begin with research to understand context and construct narrative. Our characters are the message, the materials, and the experience of the work. We draw from science and myth, inspired by modern fabrication and design.
Through our work, we aspire to leave a lasting and positive impact on our communities by curating environments and creating artwork that inspires, cultivates connection, and instills a sense of wonder and curiosity.

A permanent public art work in downtown Boise, exploring common resources, societal challenges, and social responsibility.
